Jon Atherton

Distribution Sales Director

Jon is an accomplished commercial and sales leader with a strong reputation in the channel. He takes pride in building and maintaining productive relationships with key customers and suppliers, driving commercial success in leading technology businesses for over three decades. His passion for the channel and technology products has been instrumental in Ci Distribution’s ongoing growth and success.

A standout moment in Jon’s career was expanding Ci Distribution into one of the largest Client Rugged and Gaming distributors, not just in the UK but across Europe, building on his experience as Director of the Professional Computer Association (PCA) and Games Aid. His contributions to the industry have earned him recognition, including the PCR Individual Award, the Network Group Chairman’s Award, and Synaxon Personality of the Year.

In his own time, Jon is a dedicated supporter of West Bromwich Albion and enjoys all things golf.

Ian Harbar

B2B Sales Manager

Ian Harbar has more than thirty years of experience in the IT channel, with over two decades focused on rugged hardware solutions. He has held managerial roles that consistently delivered year-on-year growth across a broad range of vendors and industry sectors.

He previously worked for a global leader in enterprise mobile computing, barcode scanning and thermal printing. During this time, he managed relationships with major international retail brands and served as Channel Product Manager for rugged tablet computers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Ian now serves as a B2B Sales Manager at Ci Distribution, where he applies his industry knowledge and long-standing channel experience to support commercial growth and strengthen partner relationships.

Darren Perks is a Telford-based commercial technology leader with more than 30 years’ experience across the IT and professional services sector. As B2C Sales Manager, he brings a practical, customer-led approach to building high-performing commercial teams and delivering sustainable growth.

Before joining Ci Distribution, Darren spent time in key commercial roles at Enta Technologies, helping develop the business into a major player across the PC systems, networking and software ecosystem. Across his career, he has consistently fostered strong relationships and a consultative approach to selling, aligning solutions to real customer needs.

Darren has also played a major lead role in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics and business intelligence systems, supporting a seamless ERP integration and improved commercial visibility. Known for an innovative approach to product launch, he is skilled at integrating new suppliers into the ethos of an organisation and turning new partnerships into measurable results.

Iain Gillogaley

B2C Vendor Manager

Iain Gillogaley is a B2C Vendor Manager with more than twenty-five years of experience in the distribution sector, built through long-standing roles at Ci Distribution and Entatech.

At Entatech, he worked across several commercial and channel-focused positions, including Sales, Account Management, Product Management, Channel Management and ultimately Head of Product. These roles gave him a detailed understanding of vendor requirements, customer expectations and the operational demands of a fast-moving distribution environment.

He later joined Ci Distribution, where he helped establish the Telford office alongside senior colleagues. The operation grew from a standing start to more than £25 million in revenue. During his time at Ci Distribution, he served as Vendor and Business Manager, onboarding a range of tier-one brands and developing strong working relationships with their teams. His approach increased business within managed accounts and broadened engagement across the portfolio. He also contributed to purchasing activities, supporting the company’s ability to meet demand and maintain a reliable supply.

Iain now continues to apply his experience to support effective vendor partnerships and contribute to Ci Distribution’s commercial performance.

Liz Oxley

Distribution Marketing Manager

Liz Oxley brings over eighteen years of marketing expertise to Ci Distribution, with a strong background in digital strategy, brand storytelling and technology-led campaigns. With a proven record of elevating brand presence across multiple sectors, Liz specialises in developing integrated marketing strategies that strengthen vendor partnerships, enhance customer engagement and deliver measurable results across a variety of platforms.

Throughout her career, Liz has worked closely with a wide range of brands – each with unique identities and objectives and crafted tailored strategies that balance creativity with commercial impact. Her skills span brand development, multi-channel campaign delivery, graphic design and content creation. She is particularly passionate about creating memorable experiences, from intimate customer events to large-scale industry exhibitions, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the brand’s values and vision.

Liz holds both a Marketing & Advertising degree and a Master’s in the same field, giving her a deep academic foundation that complements her hands-on industry experience. Her design training further strengthens her ability to translate strategy into visually compelling and cohesive brand executions.

In her role as Marketing Manager at Ci Distribution, Liz will focus on elevating the company’s market presence, supporting vendor growth through impactful campaigns and driving engaging, consistent content across all channels.

In her spare time, Liz enjoys socialising with friends, cooking, and dining out – always on the lookout for new places and experiences to enjoy.
